LA Confidential Magazine: Cheese Menus Around LA

It's not every article where I get to quote famed gastronome Brillat-Savarin, but every so often I get to muse on food history, and this article from LA Confidential's December issue about cheese was one such instance.


Not only do I explore the placement of the cheese course in the meal, but I talk to leading chefs and fromageurs from some of LA's top restaurants including Melisse, AOC, Bouchon and Patina about what goes on their cheese lists and why.
