One of the more exciting recent hotel openings was that of the new Park Hyatt Siem Reap in Cambodia. The hotel used to be the historic Hotel de la Paix d'Angkor, and Hyatt engaged the services of hotel designer extraordinaire Bill Bensley to redo the landmark property.
Luckily, it was open by the time I got to Siem Reap to visit Angkor Wat earlier this month and I got the chance to spend three nights at this beautiful new hotel. It's a bit pricey for Cambodia, but it can also be a great place to use your Hyatt points, and the spa is fantastic.
