The folks behind one of my favorite LA restaurants, Hatfield's, have opened a casual new breakfast and lunch place on La Brea called Sycamore Kitchen, and the only thing better than the open-faced sandwiches and fresh salads is the delicious array of pastries that pair nicely with the fresh-brewed Stumptown Coffee on tap.
All in all, a great place for a brunch date - especially on the sunny front patio if it's not too hot out.
