Rundown: South Australia Dinner at Craft

For my latest post on The Rundown, I wrote about an upcoming South Australia-themed dinner at Tom Colicchio's Craft Los Angeles. The chef traveled there over the summer--just after me, in fact--and participated in a panoply of adventures from swimming with sharks, to wildlife forays on Kangaroo Island, to wine-tasting in the Barossa. Now he's bringing those experiences back with him and creating a five-course dinner on November 1st, that's running in conjunction with the South Australia Tourism Commission, and Qantas.

Anyone who books one of the discount tickets or vacation packages they'll be offering that night will receive a case of St. Hallett Blackwell Shiraz, and the chance to win a bottle of Penfolds Grange, one of Australia’s most coveted high-end wines. But this isn’t a hard sell—dinner guests will have up to two weeks to purchase a package.
