HotelChatter: Ritz-Carlton's Cheese Cave

I've been spending a lot of time down on the Orange County coast lately. As you might recall, I was asked to be one of the judges for the OCeanfront Shakeoff Cocktail Contest last month. Then I stopped back by the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel the following week to check out their new room decor, the fabulous food on their outdoor dining terrace, the Sunset Lounge, and, most importantly, to go on a very important and tasty expedition into their on-site cheese cave. It's actually more of a room than a cave, but we're not quibbling. It's housed in in Eno Wine, Cheese and Chocolate bar, right off the main lobby, so you can't miss it. Just be sure to stick around and have some wine pairings so you can get the full experience.

Here is the story of my own fateful journey into the depths of the cheese cave, complete with video and photos of the Ritz-Carlton's very own cheesemonger showing me around his workshop. See if you can read it without getting hungry...
