Frontiers: Hatfield's Review

Hatfield's was one of the most popular restaurants in Los Angeles, and has won a series of awards and accolades including a Michelin star, and best new restaurant of the year when it opened in 2006.

The restaurant gets its name from the husband-wife team in the kitchen, Quinn and Karen Hatfield, who actually met while working in the kitchen at Wolfgang Puck's Spago.

Late last year, the tiny restaurant on Beverly Boulevard closed its doors to move to a larger space on Melrose, only reopening a couple months ago in its new incarnation. All of LA's foodie community came out to celebrate, and after the cacophony died down a little, I headed into the restaurant to check out its new lunch menu.

Find out what I had to say about the dishes we tried, the new decor, and the lunchtime crowd--as well as a great little guide I whipped up about where to find the best lobster club sandwiches in town--in this recent review I did for Frontiers.
