Sometimes even I just want a good old sandwich, so it's a thrill to get a Frontiers IN/LA assignment for a review of...a sandwich shop. Even if this one is in Beverly Hills.Capriotti's is apparently something of an East Coast institution, but it's made its way over here to California, and now has two storefronts: one in BH, and the other in Encino.
I dropped by there a few weeks ago to try out a few of their sandwiches and take in the general atmosphere of the place, as well as to brush up on the Capriotti family history. Here's what I found, what I thought, and what I ate.
