For the third installment in my series on what to do in the Frankfurt area, I focused on the nearby city of Mainz, with which Frankfurt shares its international airport. Not only is the city rich with history, but it is also extremely easy to get to, has a compact old city center that is easy to navigate, and some very interesting museums, including my dork-a-licious favorite, the Gutenberg Museum.
