Last night, I was invited to a Tapas and Tagines dinner at Zimzala, the restaurant at Joie De Vivre's Huntington Beach hotel, the Shorebreak. It was hosted by chef Joyce Goldstein, and included some fantastic dishes like baked olives, fish chermoula with couscous, and cardamom panna cotta...not to mention some really interesting Spanish wines.
Afterwards, I got the chance to stay overnight at the hotel, and I took this little video of it for HotelChatter. I really had a great time at this property--I do love all the JDV hotels--so I'd recommend it to everyone. Just go for the rooms with views since the sunset is spectacular!
