I admit, I haven't spent too much time at the Chateau Marmont since I don't really get to hang out with celebrities, and the valet parking costs around $20. Theoretically, I could walk there since it really is just a few (uphill) blocks from me, but it just seems like such a pain. Bar Marmont used to be popular as a drinks date destination for aspiring agents and producers, and was even a little divey, but now there seems to be a new chef and a new menu taking shape and making the place a little more upscale to match the rest of the property.I wrote about the dishes previewing on their fall menu in this HotelChatter piece yesterday. And what do you know? I kind of felt myself wanting to stop in there to sample a few of the dishes myself...
